Panchali wants to create harmony between cultures. Her ties to both Indian and Australian culture seem to strengthen as her work evolves. Panchali seeks to create a rhythm between abstraction of Australian and Indian landscape and culture.

In her paintings the artist seeks to combine traditional Indian forms, the vibrant hues and Indian imagery with western composition. her work does not restrict paintings to a specific frame - eager to experiment and discover the processes  to establish the meeting point where the values she grew up with form a symbiotic relationship with current western influences.
